Frequently Asked Questions

Product information

What is the maximum panel length (height) you can fabricate?
We can manufacture single insulating panels up to 7,800 mm, and insulating, fireproof panels up to 6,000 mm. If the indoor height exceeds these lengths, furring strips can be used for two-level, jointed installation.
How many panel thickness options are available?
Panels for low-temperature spaces are available from 42 to 200 mm. Panels for clean spaces are available in 42 mm, and MEDIQUAL medical/medical cleanroom panels are available in 50 mm.
What are fireproof panels?
These are panels with fireproof characteristics for use in construction, as designated by the Building Standards Act. Fireproof performance conforms to government ordinances and is certified by the Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transportation.

What do you use as a foaming agent?
All insulating and fireproof insulating panels produced in Japan are made with non-fluorocarbon hydrofluoroolefins (HFOs).
Insulating panels produced at Nikkei Siam in Thailand are made using cyclopentane (a hydrocarbon-based chemical) as a foaming agent. All foam-core panels made by the Nikkei Panel System Group are made non-fluorocarbon materials.
What kind of sick building measures do you use?
Our products do not fall under formaldehyde-emitting building materials based on the Building Standards Act, so they are not subject to regulation. The materials embedded in the panel core are not exposed (remain below the surface), so they also do not fall under this regulation.
What should I do for cold storage installed outdoors?
All of our products are meant for indoor installations. Outdoor installations should be under a roof or other structure where they are not subject to direct rain or wind.
Who handles panel installation?
We have a dedicated contractor who handles construction.
What are the delivery times for products?
Delivery times differ depending on the panel type. Products are made to order, so please contact us in advance.
Are panels used differently depending on thickness?
Panel thickness differs depending on the temperature range in cold storage.
